MEETING TARGETS: NEW RECYCLABLE MATERIAL FOR FMCGs

We are proud to announce we have now reached one of our main targets – to develop a sustainable structure that meets the needs of your consumers, while complying with all the guidelines set out by the European Commission for 2030. This new recyclable material (PE HB ECO) is the first polyethylene structure available with high barrier properties, which means it can replace your non-recyclable structures.

Among the features of this new recyclable PE HB ECO material, we can highlight its high-barrier properties, and its capacity to withstand heat treatments such as pasteurisation, hot-fill and microwaving processes. It is also characterised by its high degree of transparency. As regards format, this material can be used for stand-up pouches, 3-weld pouches, pouches with side pleats, and for horizontal and vertical filling processes. It is ideal for all sectors that require a high-barrier material for products such as sauces, liquids, pre-prepared meals, superfoods and nuts, among others.

This material is also available without a barrier (PE ECO), providing a mono-material recyclable structure.
