OUR ARRAS PLANT (FRANCE) SECURES THE HIGHEST FOOD QUALITY AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION FROM THE BRC
BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification is one of the most prestigious food quality and safety certifications awarded by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). It attests to how efficiently businesses comply with food safety requirements. BRC certification is an international benchmark for assessing a business’ commitment to implementing control systems for identifying dangers or threats to food safety. The BRC has three levels of certification: A, B and C. The highest possible certification, AA+, is considered a sign of excellence.
SPG is proud to announce that our plant in Arras (France) was awarded an AA+ on account of its comprehensive and strict review of its systems for traceability, supplier monitoring, staff training, facilities safety and prevention of food fraud. The certification was granted after a surprise audit, meaning the plant is extremely demanding when it comes to complying with the requirements.
