Sustainability begins with a productive activity that is respectful in all its processes.
Sustainability
SP Group has made a commitment to the environment. This commitment requires us to use practices that minimise the waste produced during the manufacture of our materials, thereby reducing their environmental impact.
We are working to reformulate materials and create new thinner materials with better properties that allow us to reduce the amount of energy used during our own manufacturing processes, as well as those of our clients.
This commitment includes controlling the gases produced during manufacture. SP GROUP controls all these gases with gas-treatment equipment that purifies the VOCs released into the atmosphere. This treatment equipment is periodically serviced by an authorised management company.
Another important task is the correct seperation of waste, both urban and hazardous waste, that we produce in all the plants of the group, and which we manage through management companies authorised by the Ministry of the Environment. Because we care about the environment and we take the concerns seriously, we are seeking new manufacturing processes that make us more sustainable and help protect the environment. As a result, we have decided to promote policies and programmes among our clients that contribute to the circular economy to provide a second life for our materials.
Our most significant circular economy project currently underway is Tray2Tray.
