This structure is suitable for thermal treatments such as hot filling. It is a double- or triple-layer flexible laminate resistant to thermal shock. It can be used on reel-fed sealing machines for tray lidding applications, as well as for the production of vertical and horizontal pouches and stand-up pouches.
Properties:
Good barrier properties against aromas, oxygen and water vapour, and liquid-tight. Good mechanical properties, suitable for sterilisation and microwave heating. Anti-fog properties can also be added as an option.
Applications:
Mainly ready meals, sauces and liquids.
