ALL OUR PLANTS OBTAIN THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATION – BRC
We are happy to share with you that our plants in Villarrubia and Espiel (Spain), and Arras (France), have successfully passed the BRC audit, obtaining in Spain the highest AA+ rating, and in France AA, which guarantees our total commitment to food security.
The BRC (British Retail Consortium) standard is one of the most important quality and safety certifications in the sector, internationally recognized by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) and awarded by BUREAU VERITAS, responsible for certifying the efficiency of companies in the implementation of control systems to identify any danger or threat to food safety.
Within what is certification, there are different levels and degrees, being the degree AA+ which corresponds to the maximum excellence. And this is precisely what we have obtained in SPG. It should be noted that the person in charge of the audit BUREAU VERITAS, said that we have achieved it thanks to our Quality Culture Plan, our Food Fraud Assessment and our outstanding Quality System that is characterized by being solid, well configured, defined and managed. This is particularly significant considering that it is an unannounced audit, which makes its level of requirement in meeting the requirements very high. In the case of the Villarrubia plant is the fifth consecutive year that we achieved the highest category, while for Espiel it would be its fourth year.
This distinction reinforces our commitment to safety and top quality, and shows us that excellence is the only synonym for trust.
