Four of the Group’s five plants have achieved an AA+ grade, following successful unannounced audits.

All assessments were carried out through unannounced audits. This means that the plants were not informed in advance of the inspection date, allowing auditors to assess normal day-to-day operations and verify the consistent application of quality, safety, hygiene, traceability and process control procedures.

As a result, four of the Group’s five plants, including Rotor Print by SPG, have achieved an AA+ grade. The Espiel plant, which specialises in rigid materials for thermoforming solutions and vacuum packaging, has achieved an A+ grade.

An international standard for the packaging industry

BRCGS Packaging Materials is one of the leading international standards for the packaging and packaging materials industry. Its assessment system covers areas such as quality and product safety management, risk control, facility hygiene, traceability and the correct implementation of production processes.

The unannounced nature of the audits adds further value to the results achieved, as it demonstrates that the established procedures and controls are consistently maintained throughout the plants’ day-to-day operations.

Quality and safety across all Group plants

These grades reflect the application of rigorous and consistent criteria throughout SP Group’s industrial operations, regardless of the location of each plant, its specialisation or the packaging solutions it manufactures.

For customers, this renewal provides additional assurance when working with a supplier capable of delivering controlled processes and consistent quality standards across its different production sites.

These results are particularly relevant for sectors such as food and pharmaceuticals, where packaging safety, traceability and reliability are essential requirements.

With this renewal, SP Group continues to reinforce its commitment to continuous improvement, product safety and the implementation of rigorous standards across all its operations.
