SP GROUP continues to improve its environmental performance.
SP Group continues to make progress in improving its environmental performance and strengthening process control. During 2026, the company successfully completed a new verification of its carbon footprint, as well as the external audits corresponding to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, carried out by Bureau Veritas.
This year, the scope of the carbon footprint verification has been expanded to include emissions from Rotor Print, in addition to the Villarrubia and Espiel plants.
The results show a 14.19% reduction in emissions compared with the previous year, equivalent to 1,679.14 fewer tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. In addition, between 2020 and 2025, SP Group achieved a cumulative reduction of 19% compared with 2019, which is used as the base year.
These achievements are complemented by audits of the quality, environmental and energy management systems. Prior to the external assessments, SP Group carried out its internal audit programme to verify compliance with procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and prepare for the external audits.
These results reflect the work carried out in efficiency, process optimisation and environmental monitoring. They demonstrate an ongoing commitment to a more efficient and responsible industry, prepared to meet new market requirements.
The assessment schedule will continue in November with the next audit related to FSC® certification.
