The project, based in southern Europe, aims to create a positive socio-economic impact while promoting more sustainable production and packaging models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This strategic programme is <strong>backed by <a href=\"https:\/\/next-generation-eu.europa.eu\/index_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European NextGenerationEU<\/a> recovery funds<\/strong> through the Spanish Government\u2019s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, reinforcing Europe\u2019s commitment to a greener and more competitive food industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A collaborative effort with broad impact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative brings together <strong>more than twenty leading agri-food companies across Europe<\/strong>, including SPG, to deliver solutions that cover the entire value chain\u2014from production and processing to packaging and distribution.<br>SPG\u2019s contribution focuses on <strong>developing new industrial-format packaging made from recyclable and recycled materials<\/strong>, designed to help small and medium-sized food companies move towards more sustainable packaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strengthening SPG\u2019s leadership in sustainability and technology<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For SPG, <strong>participating in this European-scale initiative is a natural step forward in our <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.spg-pack.com\/en\/sustainability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>strategy of sustainable innovation<\/strong>.<\/a><br>Our work focuses on <strong>recyclable, high-barrier materials<\/strong> that meet evolving consumer expectations and comply with the latest European regulations.
