The panels, located on the factory roofs, cover a total area of 28,000 m2 and have a peak power of 4,087.87 kWp.<\/p>\n<p>The estimated annual production of the solar panels at SP Group\u2019s main site is 2,367,622 kWh, which represents 21% of the plant\u2019s consumption. At our plant that manufactures material for thermoforming trays and vacuum packs, the estimated production for self-consumption is 2,411,842 kWh, representing 14.5% of the total power used.<\/p>\n<p>With this new system we will be reducing our CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions by almost 700 tonnes per year.
