SUCCESS STORIES:  WITH TAREQ TAYLOR AND BJÄREFÅGEL: PRE-PREPARED MEALS FOR NEW FAMILY UNITS AND THE CONTROL OF FOOD WASTE

We are always delighted to help create solutions for our clients to launch on the market, and at SP POLSKA we have been working with Bjärefågel to create some tray lids for their line Tareq TaylorMade.

This line of products has been developed together with Tareq Taylor, a renowned Swedish chef who helped them develop the concept and launch it on the market in the form of a variety of easy-to-prepare meals. In this case, the main food product is chicken which, when combined with the other ingredients of each recipe, is transformed into: chicken korma, Thai red chicken curry, or the typical Italian dish, chicken cacciatore.

In the words of Tareq Taylor himself “I had never put my name to a product like this. We are doing something together that will solve a daily problem for many people. Moreover, the dishes are restaurant quality and taste really good”.

What does the Tareq TaylorMade line offer?

• It offers a simple solution of healthy food based on fresh ingredients.
• Each dish cooks in just a few minutes.
• As portions are packaged individually, single-family homes can adapt the amount of meals to their needs, thereby reducing food waste.

What advantages does the SP Group packaging provide?

• The material used for the lids was a double complex of polyester and polyethylene, this material provides water-vapour and aroma barriers and is very watertight. This way, Bjärefågel is able to ensure its product is preserved in perfect condition until it is consumed.
