PP HB ECO

Our new recyclable PP HB ECO material is a polypropylene-based, sterilisable complex with high-barrier properties that replaces non-recyclable structures. This structure has been developed by SP Group to comply with the European Commission target of ensuring all plastic packaging in the EU market is recyclable or reusable by 2030.

Properties:

It stands out for its high degree of transparency, greater than any PP structure. It has a high barrier, and withstands heat treatments, such as sterilisation, pasteurisation, hot-fill and microwaving.

Applications:

Market applications of this material: It is ideal for any products that require sterilisation treatment, such as sauces or food products containing some kind of sauce or liquid, as well as pre-prepared dishes. Also ideal for wet pet food.

rPET BLACK

rPET BLACK is a black, thermoformable, mono-layer film made from approximately 100% post-consumer recycled material, of which more than 50% comes from PET food trays. Unlike other films, this one is made from black masterbatch, which can be detected with NIR spectroscopy in sorting lines prior to the recycling process. This means rPET BLACK trays can be identified and sorted for recovery, recycling and reincorporation into the manufacturing process.

BIONATUR

BIONATUR is a structure of BIO FVSOL, a PLA and PVOH-based film that is fully biodegradable, compostable and biobased in compliance with standard EN 13432, laminated with Kraft paper. The pairing of these two materials gives the packaging a more natural appearance, transmitting sustainability. It is also perfect for stand-up formats. It is fully food safe and comes with the option of a window to show the product inside, as BIO FVSOL is a highly transparent film.

Properties:

This structure is ideal for products that require high oxygen barriers, and it can also provide a light barrier, giving added protection to the packaged product.

BIONATUR has a better mechanical and heat resistance during the packaging process, thanks to the paper layer.

It can be printed with biodegradable inks using the flexography and rotogravure techniques.

Applications:

The main markets for this material are dried fruits and nuts, crisps and snacks, spices, and dried foodstuffs, such as sugar, flour, pasta and rice. It is also ideal for single-serving applications.

Our thermoformable rPET monolayer laminate is made 100% material post-consumer recycled (PCR). Of this more than 50% is recycled material from trays, and it is 100% recyclable. This facilitates its classification and recycling where the infrastructure exists to do so. HOT FILLED APET

Our material for hot filling is a rigid coextrusion with an APET base. With a high degree of heat resistance, it is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 100ºC without losing any of its properties or its shape. It also maintains a high degree of transparency and shine.
HOT FILL APET is 100% recyclable, and replaces other materials such as POLYSTYRENE, POLYPROPYLENE and other PVC structures, which are difficult to recycle.

Very transparent, thermoformable, heat resistant up to 100ºC.

BIO FVSOL MATT N

BIO FVSOL MATT Black is a PVOH-based laminate that is totally biodegradable, compostable and bio-based in accordance with regulation EN 13432.

This laminate is very similar to the BIO FVSOL material, except that it is black with a matt finish.

It is characterised by its similarity to paper in terms of feel and roughness. This material can be used with HD flexographic or rotogravure printing, and the packaging will still be 100% biodegradable thanks to the biodegradable inks.

BIO FVSOL 60

BIO FVSOL 60 is a PLA- and PVOH-based laminate that is totally biodegradable, compostable and bio-based in accordance with regulation EN 13432.

This biodegradable laminate is one of the materials in our SOL range, which is characterised by high-barrier films that condense maximum quality and protection in minimum thickness. This material is also 100% suitable for contact with food products.

The most prominent characteristic of this BIO FVSOL 60 laminate is its rigidity and its high degree of transparency which allows the product to be seen clearly through it, whilst still being biodegradable.

This material can be used with HD flexographic or rotogravure printing, and the packaging will still be 100% biodegradable thanks to the biodegradable inks.
