PE ECO

Our PE ECO is a polyethylene-based complex. It is a 100%-recyclable mono-material, meaning it can replace non-recyclable structures. This material has been developed by SP Group to meet the guidelines set out by the European Commission to increase the recyclability of packaging. PE ECO has been added to our Eco Range, which contains all SP Group’s recyclable and mono-material packaging solutions.

Properties:

It stands out for its transparency and its capacity to withstand heat treatments such as pasteurisation, hot-fill and microwaving processes.

Applications:

Market applications for this material: Processed meat and dairy products, such as cured sausage products and cheese, frozen fish and seafood, dried fruit and other dried food products, ranging from spices and superfoods to cereals and legumes. It is also a good option for many products in the non-food sector, for example personal hygiene products, gels and shampoos, and cleaning products, among others.

BIO FVSOL MATT N

BIO FVSOL MATT Black is a PVOH-based laminate that is totally biodegradable, compostable and bio-based in accordance with regulation EN 13432.

This laminate is very similar to the BIO FVSOL material, except that it is black with a matt finish.

It is characterised by its similarity to paper in terms of feel and roughness. This material can be used with HD flexographic or rotogravure printing, and the packaging will still be 100% biodegradable thanks to the biodegradable inks.

BIO FVSOL 60

BIO FVSOL 60 is a PLA- and PVOH-based laminate that is totally biodegradable, compostable and bio-based in accordance with regulation EN 13432.

This biodegradable laminate is one of the materials in our SOL range, which is characterised by high-barrier films that condense maximum quality and protection in minimum thickness. This material is also 100% suitable for contact with food products.

The most prominent characteristic of this BIO FVSOL 60 laminate is its rigidity and its high degree of transparency which allows the product to be seen clearly through it, whilst still being biodegradable.

This material can be used with HD flexographic or rotogravure printing, and the packaging will still be 100% biodegradable thanks to the biodegradable inks.

PP FLOC

Special laminate made from polypropylene. Used principally as insulation in several parts of a car’s interior, those that are not visible, such as doors and windows.

BOPLUS

This material is used in vacuum-packed products. It has a good degree of smoothness, making it suitable for the manufacture of vertical-fill bags and pouches. It also has good thermoforming properties and admits pasteurisation heat treatments.

RSE

This material is used for vacuum-packed products, principally as a cover, as it has good thermoforming properties and admits pasteurisation heat treatments. The RSE AUTO version is a material used in the manufacture of car components.

OPP PE

This is a double flexible material. It is also possible to add an option to this structure that allows powdered cocoa to be packaged. It has good mechanical properties, and the oriented polypropylene makes the printing glossy and transparent.

OPP PP

This double flexible material has good mechanical properties. An anti-static coating can be applied. Good water-vapour barrier and glossy transparent or opaque finishes. Suitable for pastuerisation processes up to 100ºC. Microwaveable. Ideal for offset printing.

PA PP

This is a double flexible material that is excellent for thermoforming. It is tough and has good mechanical properties. It has a good water-vapour barrier.
