PACKAGING WITH SPECIAL PROPERTIES: ANTI-FOG

Some products require packaging with special properties, either for food preservation or aesthetic purposes. Because some fresh products such as meat, fruit and vegetables transpire, if the packaging is not treated, the water in these products becomes vapour, resulting in condensation on the inside of the film. This happens with both trays and bags.

To solve the problem, SP GROUP use anti-fog onto the inside of the laminate or complex, in other words, onto the side that comes into contact with the food product. This solution increases the surface tension of the polymer and disperses any drops that form.

This way we ensure the products are clearly visible through the packaging laminate.
